Rising Star Chef Shines at Elegant Women’s Day Event
On March 8, 2025, Etiquette Food and Travel hosted the Elegant Woman Etiquette Around High Tea masterclass in celebration of International Women’s Day at the prestigious Raffles Le Royal Hotel in Phnom Penh. The elegant afternoon brought together style, culture, and culinary artistry — and proudly featured a signature pastry created by one of our outstanding alumni of the Naomi Tami Scholarship Fund, Kofalida.
The young Cambodian chef, a graduate of the Academy of Culinary Arts Cambodia, is a shining example of talent and determination. A decorated gold and bronze medalist in international culinary competitions, she continues to impress with her skill, creativity, and poise.
At the Women’s Day event, guests were treated to her delicate pastry creation — a highlight of the high tea experience that perfectly reflected the sophistication and spirit of the occasion. Her participation is a testament to the impact of empowering women in the culinary world, and to the caliber of training provided at our Academy.

With dreams of one day opening her own pastry shop, this gifted young chef is well on her way to becoming a leading figure in Cambodia’s culinary scene.
The Naomi Tami Scholarship Memorial Fund was established by the Tami family to honour the memory of Naomi Laura Tami who passed away on May 7, 2013, at the early age of 23. In keeping with Naomi’s love of life and passion, the Naomi Tami Scholarship Memorial Fund provides the opportunity for students who are committed to excellence, love the culinary arts, and who would not otherwise have the opportunity due to financial constraints, to study tuition-paid at the Academy of Culinary Arts Cambodia.
